What Is Covered

Manufacturer Defects

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions:

  • LED failures (premature burnout, flickering, color shifting)
  • Driver/Controller malfunctions
  • Housing defects (cracking, warping, discoloration)
  • Connection failures (loose connections, broken terminals)
  • Adhesive failures on LED strips
  • Power supply issues within specifications

Performance Guarantees

  • Lumen Maintenance: LED output maintained at minimum 80% of initial lumens (L80)
  • Color Consistency: Color temperature variance within 200K
  • Power Efficiency: Performance within 10% of rated specifications
  • Operating Lifespan: Minimum rated hours under normal operating conditions

What Is NOT Covered

Exclusions

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and aging of LED components
  • Damage from improper installation or use outside specifications
  • Physical damage from impact, dropping, or mishandling
  • Water damage (unless product is rated for wet locations)
  • Electrical damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper wiring
  • Damage from extreme temperatures outside operating range
  • Modifications or alterations to the product
  • Damage from cleaning chemicals or inappropriate cleaning methods
  • UV degradation from prolonged outdoor exposure (non-rated products)
  • Lightning or electrical storm damage

Installation Requirements

Warranty coverage requires:
